Fry & Fork – Takeaway Website

Fry & Fork is a fish and chip, pizza and pasta takeaway on Link Street, Kirkcaldy. We built a mobile-friendly website from the owner’s designs and photos: a homepage with a menu showcase and the kitchen’s story, and a full menu page with all 18 sections and 189 dishes from the printed menu. Customers can search the menu, pick sizes, build an order list and tap to call the shop with it. The site is live at fry-and-fork.vercel.app.

Problem Statement

The takeaway had a printed menu but no website, so people searching on their phones couldn’t see the menu, prices or opening hours, and the shop takes orders by phone rather than online.

How We Solved It

We built a two-page Next.js website from the owner’s designs: a homepage that shows the food, the kitchen and live open/closed status, and a full menu page generated from the printed menu, with web prices set by the owner. Visitors build an order list on their own phone and call the shop to place it, so there are no ordering fees.
